The Love is… project is something that expanded from many things – the beauty of that which is love, the feelings encompassed by love, describing something as being “love” (for instance, ‘you are Love’), and a myriad of other things.
Following on from the success of The Love Is… Project, I decided to do something similar this year to celebrate Heartdrops’ third birthday.
This is the I Love… project. This time around I asked readers of my blog, members of The Fanlistings and followers of my Twitter account to tell me what they loved, or who they loved – and why. I was so thrilled to receive many responses that I decided to have a second part to this project.
All the quotes that were submitted by others are at the foot of this page (since there are so many!) – some were edited to remove grammatical mistakes and for length.
Write about what you love.
I would like to invite everyone (especially those who already submitted something) to take part in this if possible.
Now that you’ve given a short statement about what you love, take it one step further and write a blog post or a poem, a story – whatever tickles your fancy – about what you love. I would love to read all of your stories.
In your blog post please link back to this page (http://heartdrops.org/the-i-love-project/). I’ll receive a pingback on this page and I will link all blog posts on this page so you can read everyone’s stories.
If you want to make sure I know (better if you do!), you can send me a tweet or hit me up at the contact form.

I love the Lord because He first loved me and gave His life for me.
Aside from my amazing family & friends, and the animals that own my heart, there is Tony, the love of my life; who has a sparkle in his eyes, and a smile on his face, every time I walk into the room.
I love the look, smell and feel of walking in a forest because it gives me a sense of contentedness and peace.
I love my boyfriend Shaun because not only does he make me smile and laugh, but he just gets me and makes me feel incredibly loved.
Fandom: that worldwide community of people and fictional creations and love we share for them and each other keeps my head above water when nothing else can. I’ve been flitting between fandom groups since I was nine years old, and I could never give it up.
