AC – easy to remember. I assume you just derived it from your names.
Coding and Validation
Your coding has 2 errors and 3 warnings.
Where is your </html> tags and your </head> tag? What about <body> tags? It seems to me that you need to correct your coding altogether.
You need a proper doctype at the beginning of every page. <!doctype html> is for HTML5 and is only experimental, and is unreliable.
This is the one you should use:
<!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.01 Transitional//EN"
You don’t have a character encoding. You have to place this in the <head> section:
<meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=utf-8">
You need alt tags on all your images. I suggest you read my tutorial on validating HTML. You really need to brush up on your coding. You don’t even have the correct structure.
Your CSS is valid but has 8 warnings.
To get rid of the warnings, make sure you put a width on all your divs. And don’t use the same colours for fonts and backgrounds. Clean up your CSS a bit.
Browser Compatibility & Usability
Looking at your site at Browsershots.org, your site looks similar in most browsers.
Your text is very hard to read. White on pink? I can barely read it. I have to highlight it to read. You should really be using something like black. Also, increase the letter spacing, and the line height. It’s so squished! It’s very hard to read.
I don’t like your navigation. It’s small and unnoticeable, and on hover, it goes extremely huge. Try horizontal CSS block navigation, which is more effective and stands out more.
Say ‘home’ instead of ‘clear’ – not everyone understands ‘clear’.
Your navigation is barely noticeable in Internet Explorer. You need to fix that.
I can’t tell what is a link and what’s not. The links are white, like the text, and have no effect on hover. They should be different – maybe a dark pink, and on hover, they should be something like yellow, to complement the header.
Layout
Interesting colour scheme. I don’t usually see pink and black with some yellow. Nice job there.
The header image is simple. I don’t really like how there’s so much yellow, though. The image is also like a square, which is rather odd. I think you could have made a smaller header image.
Well, the layout’s put together in an okay way. I like the horizontal background but there’s just too much yellow. The layout is also a bit strange – it isn’t centered. I think you should have a go at centering your layout with containers.
The CSS uses different fonts, but as I mentioned, make the main text easier to read. I don’t like the choice of font for headers. Too decorative and weird. “Arial Black” would be a more preferable font.
Content
Site
You mention that you’ll credit the DeviantArt users. It’s nice you acknowledge this, but I don’t see a link to the actual DeviantArt user anywhere.
This page is really hard to read. Really hard. You need to learn how to paragraph and space things out. Also, you need to write properly on your website if you want to come off as ‘good’ and ‘professional’. Capitalise things like “January” and “Piczo” and “August” and “Freewebs” and “November”.
anohter should be another.
Writing with “u”, “ur”, etc. is not very professional and actually turns me off from reading anymore. You should proofread. And correct. It’s not a good look for a website to have messy pages like this.
Visitor
You should capitalise HTML here.
Instead of having graphics links on another page, put them on the visitor page, to save space. And to save people from pressing ‘back’.
Your little sign on your graphics page says ‘out work’ instead of ‘our work’. Not cool. Not professional.
Affie images? “Affie” is not a word. These images are way out of date. No one uses them anymore – plus – it’s rude to link all your affiliates with the same button. Even you don’t use these.
The backgrounds are okay.. but I have no idea why the last set are not in the pink div. Some of these look a bit pixelated – like the last bunch. The whole last bunch looks dodgy.
‘By Bella’ is written in the middle of the page. Who is Bella? Are you redistributing someone else’s work? Without their permission, that is stealing, and that is very unoriginal. I don’t understand why all these images link to this page, either.
The blank buttons aren’t too useful. People generally make their own. I don’t see credit for the cropping of my avatar for the first three buttons. So who are you crediting for all these images, if you didn’t even credit me? What’s this about crediting DeviantArt users? I don’t see it anywhere! You guys should be crediting for wherever you got these images.
These blank buttons are boring – they’re just cropped and I don’t even see any effects on them. With this page too, I don’t see why all the images link to this page.
A ‘click thumbnail to open in new window’ note would be nice on the brushes.
These brushes are okay, but they mostly look like cropped images and are only available in imagepacks. A lot of them are quite blurry and pixelated too.
The coded layouts aren’t too bad. They’re very basic, for the most part. Some of them are random (why is there a kitty brush in the Barbie layout?). Some look pixelated and blurry, like the Leonardo DiCaprio one. The majority of these have your old site name on them too.
I can’t really imagine these layouts being used. You didn’t even credit the images sources on the layouts.
There’s not much you can say about colour schemes. These are alright. A lot of them are too bright, though. I also am annoyed at the fact that these just randomly link to this page. Far out.
The closed signs are pretty pointless. I haven’t seen anyone used a ‘closed’ sign in a while. Often people just write text. And hello, where is the credit for these?
Extended backgrounds are pointless; people can fill in a rectangle with one colour on one side and another on the opposite side. And there’s no point to having random backgrounds like these.
Enter signs are pointless. They’re old and I don’t see anyone using these at all.
Headers are on a ‘revamp’. If the page doesn’t exist, don’t make one.
I’m in high doubt some of these icons are even yours. Your page source shows me that you’ve taken them from different Photobucket accounts, people’s LiveJournals, people’s Piczo sites, even YourSpaceNow.com. This is stealing.
What the heck are ‘owner images’? Pointless, again. They’re just cropped, horribly pixelated images.
You are severely lacking in credit for everything I have seen.
The textures are okay. Finally something useful! I like the light ones.
No one uses ‘under construction’ signs. And you haven’t even credited images.
The bulk of these wallpapers aren’t too bad. I think you could make some of them a little more interesting. A lot of these aren’t standard desktop sizes. Some are 1024 by 768 pixels. I think you could make them all that size. And for usability, it would be nice to offer them in other larger and smaller desktop sizes as well.
I don’t see the point of the written graphics and I don’t see them being used anywhere.
Onto the HTML section now. I wonder what could be here; the title isn’t so descriptively named.
The colour chart is handy but credit where you got it from; you must have got some help or resource somewhere.
I really don’t think you need the text effects. It won’t really help anyone. You guys already understand this stuff because you know HTML. I already understand it because I know it. It won’t help me or you. If my brother came and saw this – he doesn’t know HTML at all – he wouldn’t really understand the concept. It doesn’t quite go from the basics which is why I think you should remove this. It’s not necessary, and not useful.
The miscellaneous codes are the same. Falling snow is an annoying effect, really. It’s distracting. The disabling of the right click.. that isn’t going to work, because what will that help? Stop stealing? People can steal without right-clicking, and the chances that someone will steal are very slim. Encouraging people to use music players is not good; music is annoying and distracting and increases loading time, not to mention is invalid, coding-wise.
Status bars.. I don’t see the point in changing it. I want to know when the site has fully loaded and when it hasn’t. People hardly use these sorts of codes anymore, and if anything, they are a distraction and are annoying.
Cursors – NO. Well, I don’t know about you, but for someone to change the cursor for me really pisses me off. Why not do it on your own computer and leave it at that? Besides, it doesn’t even work on every browser. Only Internet Explorer.
‘Atm’ should be ‘At The Moment’. And you should be crediting where these icons came from.
All your little clocks are stolen from Ego-Box.com. You took their code and are basically redistributing it on your site. That’s stealing.
The PNGs are okay, but why are they even called PNGs in the first place. They’re just cut images. People can do this themselves. I highly doubt that these are used often; naturally, only if they like the celebrity. Some of these are badly cut, like the Amanda Bynes ones and the Kelly Osbourne ones.
Too bad the site namer doesn’t work.
You need to correct all your spelling and grammar mistakes. It’s pathetic. In your contests section, “ur” should be “your”.
this fotos should be these photos
whit should be with.
Please don’t steal? Ironic, that you do.
No one needs MS Paint tutorials. Everyone can make a ‘blank’ button on their own. Hilarious that this button isn’t blank. Yeah?
All you’re doing with the image to make an icon is cropping it. No effects or anything. Useless tutorial.
Most people know how to make a custom colour. That is why the button is there..
The paper effect tutorial or whatever.. that’s okay.
Don’t see much difference with the makeup tutorial. Her lips just look drier.
The radical blur tutorial is pretty stupid. It’s not really a tutorial.
The FTP tutorial is useless. Not everyone uses .php extensions. “u” should be “you”, obviously. And “your” should be “you’re”.
This isn’t even a tutorial on FTP. It doesn’t tell anyone how to use FTP.
The downloadable programs are external links and you didn’t make all these programs. No comment.
Tips for your site. I thought this would be an interesting article, but, no. Don’t use light colours? Sorry, but I can’t read your text without highlighting it?
Don’t use MS Paint? Well, well, who’s the one who has tutorials on MS Paint?
Always give credit? BS, sorry, BS. Where’s all YOUR credit?!

Don’t expect me to review this.
Originality & Creativity
You girls really need to work on your site and make things more original and creative. Half the content was stolen, not credited for – not even yours. If you don’t want to get a bad name on the web, I suggest you start making your own graphics. Stealing is not the way to go about it.
Organisation & Errors
Not organised well. Many errors. You need to proofread all pages and organise things better. Don’t have so many subpages. Write neater, and paragraph. Don’t write in chatspeak. It’s very unprofessional.
Overall Comment
You have a lot of work to do.
- Remove all stolen content.
- Make your own graphics and DO NOT redistribute the work of others.
- Credit where you got your resources from. ALL OF THEM.
- Don’t write in chatspeak. It’s unprofessional.
- Clean up your coding and code properly. With the right structure.
- Remove superfluous things like the status bar codes and HTML codes.
- Work on your layout and making text more readable.
- Try centering your layout.
- Clean up your sidebar – you don’t need the stuff under ‘ignore’ – bookmark them instead.
If you hadn’t had so much stolen content perhaps you would have done a better job.
