Site name
Mamyology is unique and intelligent, and it’s great how you came up with the name. I would never have guessed you derived it from your own name!
Layout
The header image looks great. I like the stripes and the textures on the stars for variety. I quite like how the header image isn’t of a great height, so I can see the content easily. I always have the tendency to make huge headers. Gah.
From just looking at your layout, it’s all very easy on the eyes. The CSS is great, but I think the text for h1 could be a bit smaller.
Your block navigation was excellent and clear, but I think the purple is a little too dark. Maybe a little lighter like #9c7da7 could work, it’s a little lighter but not too light. Your footer could use the same colour too. And instead of (c) put ©, which would get you the copyright sign ©.
I don’t see why you have the double navigation. It’s not bad but it makes you look as if you were just trying to fill in your sidebar. ‘Content’ would be better renamed to ‘Visitor content’, because content would define anything that was included on your site.
I didn’t like how the ‘.com’ was grey and a different colour from the ‘Mamyology’, but it’s not that noticeable.

This page is good! Just the right amount of information. I think you should put a comma after ‘Hi’. I would suggest putting Music/TV/Movies/etc in bold. Your profile page is great. ‘Somewhere in UK’ would be better a Somewhere in the UK.
Song of the week is an excellent idea. It shows some dedication to your site, and that you’re able to update regularly. That said, your blogs are always quite interesting.
I think ‘words’ could be ‘Me in words’, it doesn’t really matter – I was just a little curious as to what the link would lead to.
Site
Hahaha despite your warning I clicked ‘piczo’. Partially because I’ve never actually been to the main piczo site. Hahaha.
This page is great, and well organised, like the other pages I’ve already seen. It’s great that you’ve included why you’re crediting people on your credits page. It’s also very nice that you’ve credited people who have reviewed you.
On your disclaimer, ‘do not in anyway belong’ should be ‘do not in any way belong’. I quite like that you’ve included this page, it shows authority. I’ve always been to chicken to make one myself.
You’ve only got one link button, I was expecting to see more. I like variety. Having one is your choice, my suggestion is to make a couple more and maybe some of different sizes.
Past layouts were good, I like the short descriptions and the screenshots. Nice job with the reviews, well organised as usual.

The articles were awesome and interesting. I like your tips, and your ‘How To Make a Rubbish Site’ article was hilarious. Some people are still immature enough to follow some of these.. hahaha.
Unfortunately you’re too right about the Piczo stereotype. I only look at piczo sites to laugh, really. Great article and I hope you manage to find a piczo site that’s.. actually quite good.
Your fun things are fun indeed. I don’t know what ‘zomg’ means exactly either, even though I use it sometimes. ‘Zo my God’, perhaps. Try ROFLMAO
These chat up lines are a good start, maybe you could find some more because the page is sort of empty. And there are lots like that too. Your funny sayings – ‘heard the around’ should be ‘heard them around’.
Hahaha I love your version of acronyms! PMSL (your version) made me PMSL (general version)!
Graphics were great. I loved the shading on the bullets and back/forward buttons. The little homes are cute too. The sheep are baadorable. Icon bases were pretty simple but good. Pixels were alright but the animals need a little refining. I think they’d look better a bit bigger. Cute robot dude
Ooh textures. These things always amaze me but I’m never sure what to use them for. The thumbnails are good, maybe something like ‘click the thumnail for the image’ would be good to add.
I liked the movie reviews. ‘Though Shalt Do The Dance’ should probably be in italics (Evan Almighty) and Mean Girls should be capitalised as it’s the name of another movie (Mamma Mia). The rest of these reviews were pretty good and it’s great that you’ve put the movie stars’ names and a rating.
With the basic codes tutorial, <br /> is usually only used with valid XHTML. In HTML it’s generally incorrect to put backslashes. That would be a note to make. With your other tutorial it’s also for XHTML.
On this tutorial you can also display HTML on your site by typing < and > for the less than and greater than signs. That way you don’t need the stars. If you don’t get me, see here.
Reviews were good, good. Do you still offer them? Because you don’t have an application form or details on applying. I suggest making a note whether you do or not, so people can apply or not.
Folio
Organised. Minimal photography, but I like it. Look forward to seeing more!
Originality
Woo, yet another perfect. Lots of original content. You’ve got an original style too, which I can see in your layouts. Great job! It’s so rarely I come across original sites.
Organisation/Errors
There were a few tiny things, just typos. Nothing major. Everything was organised.
Overall comment
I love your site name. I love your layouts because they’re very unique and simple – not overdone at all. You had a lot of content that was entertaining. Also some generic content. Your pixels could use a little work, though.
I think it’s amazing that you’ve got a bit of everything on your site – shows that you like trying different things. I think the content variety is great, but a little more content would be good. And you really should add more things to that folio!
