Sounds unique and easy to remember – but I see a lot of sites with the word ‘design’ in them.
Coding and Validation
Your coding has 128 errors and 1 warning.
You didn’t make your layout yourself so going through the coding would really be a waste of time.
Your CSS is valid. I think you should use an external CSS file so when I load a page, I don’t see the writing in default then see it pop up in its proper styling.
Browser Compatibility & Usability
Looking in Browsershots.org, your layout looks the same in most browsers.
I would make the navigation bigger and clearer. The font size is easy to read, though.
You’re using iframes and I don’t see why. You can easily put the coding on every page and just edit the content. It’s a lot easier for people to navigate, like if they wanted to bookmark a single page.
Layout
It’s a nice layout, but unfortunately it’s just a free theme from Blogohblog.
Therefore I can’t really review the layout because you didn’t make it yourself. You could have at least edited it – but oh well.

This is a nice simple page. You have a few errors:

You credit me for ideas and images, I’m sure, but my link is heartdrops.org, not heartdrops.info.
You mention in the site stats on this page that the colours are “blue, white, red and black”. I don’t see any red.
The “look” with “horses in winter” is not “made by you”. Claiming something as your own is stealing. You credit everything else, so why don’t you credit where you got your layout from too?
In your sidebar though, you do credit the layout. Therefore you should keep things consistent and mention that in your ‘about’ page too.

This page is well written. You should put Favorites a bit further down the page and put it in hold or a heading.
Visitor
I notice half the links here aren’t even active, like the blank buttons and PNGs. I don’t think you should have these sorts of things on your site when they’re not quite ready yet!
Your icons are very nice but a lot of them use celebrity images which is illegal if you haven’t got permission from the photographer to use them. Also, they can be unoriginal. I mean, I’ve seen so many icons of Taylor Swift, it’s not even funny.
The affiliate images. They’re nice but hardly anyone uses these anymore. It’s much nicer to link your affiliates with their name or their actual button.
The PSP scripts don’t even work. They don’t link to a file or anything. How do I download them?! The previews are so pixelated I might not even like them anyway.
The title says ‘Stock images’ instead of ‘PSP scripts’.

Your fonts. You didn’t make them yourself. I have one of these on my computer and I got it from Dafont.com.
Don’t you go stating in your rules that you made them. In your rules, don’t think that I can’t notice the ‘Sarah / sweetrawr.net’ at the bottom of the page. Plus, your download links don’t even work. Way to go..
The stock images are blurry and dark; they’re not of very good quality. And don’t think I can’t notice that you took my rules and copied them and just replaced my URL with yours. Can’t you write your own?
Challenges
The rules for your layout challenge are practically the same as those at Granphic.com. You should learn to write your own rules.
You even copied the idea for the layout challenge from Granphic as well, having your favourite musician on an icon. That’s not what I call original.
Originality & Creativity
You weren’t very original. Many things on your site weren’t made by you, and were just the same things I’ve seen on other sites! You should make your own things, try more original things.
Since you’re closing your site, I don’t know why you wanted me to review it or why you have your challenges open.
I didn’t see any creativity. There wasn’t much graphic skill shown at all.
Organisation & Errors
Organisation was okay. There were a lot of errors with broken links or links that didn’t work.
Overall Comment
You need to be more original in your site, Anka. Your site seemed very unfinished and had many errors.
Seeing as you’re going to be working on a new site, I suggest you try making your own graphics and writing things yourself rather than just taking from other people. It’s okay to use ideas but not to copy someone’s text!
Try and be more original on your new site and code for yourself rather than using templates. It’s the only way you’ll progress. Good luck with your site!
