Your Brain on Cookies – it makes me laugh! It’s very cute, and a little long, but I do like it.
Your URL doesn’t really match the site name. From having a quick browse, I see that Kittycookie is your little site mascot. Cute!
Coding and Validation
I actually don’t see the point of going through your coding since your layout isn’t even yours. I’m only going to touch on it briefly.
I notice you have two layouts, but I think you should remove your Cinamin roll (which should be Cinnamon) layout. Loads of errors in it, it doesn’t look great – just a big mess. One layout is enough, espcially when on Freewebs. It saves time, space and energy.
You’re missing a doctype and character encoding in your HTML coding. You need to stick the following on EVERY page:

"http://www.w3.org/TR/html4/loose.dtd">
<meta http-equiv="content-type" content="text/html; charset=utf-8">
They’re very important for your site to be processed properly. You need them on every page!
A lot of other coding errors are caused by the YouTube video in your sidebar, which I recommend you remove. You should put a link to it instead, and have it open in your main content section so it’s bigger. In your sidebar.. a little cluttered.
Also causing errors – you don’t have an alt tag on your images. You need that tag (even if it’s blank) on every single image. Yes, I know it’s a pain.
With a lot of your topsite codes, they’re causing errors. Here’s a little snippet of code:

See that trailing backslash? Get rid of it. It’s only needed in XHTML, and you’re in HTML! Backslashes before the end tags of images are not needed in HTML 4.01, the doctype your site is best suited to.

Don’t believe me? Run your site through the W3C CSS validation service. Actually, be proud. Yoink that code and show everybody 
Browser Compatibility & Usability
Navigation is clear, it’s in text so good job. Text size is good.
Site looks okay in most browsers.
Layout
Not going to say much about the layout itself as it’s not yours. Very cute though. The header image suits your site perfectly.
The CSS matches nicely. So does the tagboard but it’s so squished down there! I think it should go on it’s own page. Wouldn’t hurt for someone to click a link, right?
It’s centered, which is good. I’m not a big fan of the two-sidebar thing.
Afflation should be Affiliation.

Art on Cookies
Oh hahhaa! That joker kitty makes me laugh out loud. Make sure you capitalise Kittycookie. Some places you’ve forgotten.
mello should be mellow.
On your Kittycookie Art (which is what I’m looking through), you have linked a few of the big ones, but the animations are HUGE and they’re not linked. Might want to fix that. And a lot of animations on a page is bad on the eyes, so they’ll be better as links anyway.
I love the comics! Though your lines could be a little neater and you spelt some things wrong (eg. patato – potato).
Your HA, HA, HA, HA! comic is too large. Consider dividing it into two sections.
Your ‘Art’ link seems to lead to the wrong page. It looks like an updates page to me.
‘Fan art’ and ‘Pokemorphs’ unfortunately lead to pages with updates as well. I think you might want to fix that error.
Kirbys are cute. I think the image quality could be improved though.
The only non-Kittycookie comic you have.. looks okay. Your graphics make me laugh. But you need to possibly write in CAPITALS, most comics are like that. You’re not even capitalising your Is! T_T
Poems on Cookies
Some fairly good poems. I can’t criticise what you write though, so I’m just having a quick read.
You have question mark symbols on this page, maybe because you typed your poems in Word first or something. You might want to go through your document in Notepad and type the apostrophes again.
Stories on Cookies
Loads and loads of these question-marked characters. I’ve taken a screenshot so you know what I mean. You’re better off typing your stories in Notepad or your Freewebs editor rather than cutting and pasting from Word.
Word changes a lot of symbols to “smart quotes” and other things, which is why they’re coming up as question marks.
On your ‘Starlight’ story, what’s with the changing fonts? Eek! I can hardly read it! Particularly the font Chiller! Eeeeek. At least change it to something else.
Music on cookies
These lyrics are pretty good. You’re very creative!
I don’t see the point of the video at the bottom. I have to crank my volume up loud to hear it.. and I don’t think you made the music yourself did you? You should write a note on what the video’s about! It’s also too wide for your div.

Originality & Creativity
Very original ideas. Very creative too. From the site name to Kittycookie, you’ve got some really creative ideas! Cookies, cookies, I love it.
Of course the only problem I had was with your layout not being made by yourself, and I assume the coding of the layout wasn’t fully done by yourself either. But it’s still a good point that you requested it have your character in it.
Organisation & Errors
Amy’s link at the bottom of your pages is wrong. Instead of http://ishi/hirokache.com/, it should be http://ishi.hirokache.com.
Fairly well organised. Errors under ‘Art on cookies’ that I mentioned above with those funny pages.
Lots of pictures need to be linked rather than opened in a new window – otherwise, organisation was fine.
Other layout was stuffed – loads of broken links. Should be removed.
Overall Comment
Ashley, your site was pretty amazing. I loved the originality in your content – you write stories, music, and poems!
I love your character Kittycookie. Hilarious, makes me laugh. I was obviously disappointed that the layout wasn’t by you but at least it included an element of your own.
Your comics and graphics/art are great. The quality obviously isn’t that good (try saving as a PNG file rather than a JPG), and you should work on straightening lines and making your comics look more comic-like – write in capitals or something!
You do have a few errors to fix. I strongly, strongly recommend you remove your Cinamoroll layout. It’s too much of a workload for you as you can’t skin properly on Freewebs – and one layout is better. Saves space as well.
Other than that I don’t have many suggestions. Just improve on the organisation. Your art and writings are fantastic. Keep up the great work!
