Layout
Your layout is much better than your old one; for several reasons. You’ve used your own pictures; and the idea is nice. Firstly, the pictures you’ve taken are good, they’ve got a ‘grainy’ quality, which is good. Picture-perfect photos are flashy and anything with touch-ups is gross. So good quality pictures you have.
The idea with all the different expressions on pieces of paper is great! I like the fonts you’ve used and the brown all matches up; it’s great. The ‘scrapbook’ feel is given by the little scribbles and the style of font.
I like the background too, it’s simple just to support and not outweigh the header image. However, if you look on the left side, the dots don’t line up. Your background should also repeat infinitely because I still see a white strip down the right side.
What was a problem also was your little introduction box. It looked a little squished, not enough space around it. The only downside that would result is that people would disregard it and probably not read it.
I did say I liked your fonts, but the one you’ve used on your navigation is a little different and clashing. I also didn’t think that putting them in different coloured areas helped.
I like your sidebar, it’s not too cluttered like it was before. This layout is not as messy than your other one, and I really quite like it. Good job!
