Site Name
Well, it’s cute! Even though it was an adopted name and you didn’t think it up yourself, you made a good choice.
Coding and Validation
Your coding has 24 errors.
I’m pretty sure this happened when you changed your layout! The coding has changed because you are now using an imagemap. The image map should have an id, not just a name.
You forget a backslash at the end of the area shape for your Art link.
For your online visitors, you might want to center it using CSS, by using a heading you don’t use a lot, like maybe h6. You should not use the center tag anymore as it is deprecated in XHTML and no longer considered correct.
Ah, I found the problem. You have a link to Twitter in your coding, but you don’t end it with </a> – you don’t have anything after the code. Check that out – it’s causing a lot of errors on your homepage. In fact, I think it caused about 20 errors!
Some of your other pages are also not valid. You might want to go through and check them out.
Your CSS is valid.
Browser Compatibility & Usability
Your site is okay in all browsers according to Browsershots.org. Well done!
The width of the layout is just fine; so it’ll look fine in smaller resolutions!
Normally I don’t like image mapping for navigation, because sometimes people browse the internet with images turned off (I do sometimes), so that things load faster. But you’ve done a great job; it isn’t too huge a problem.
The text size is fine; there are no problems there.
Layout
I really like it. It’s very colourful, which is always better than drab colours.
I like the brushes and how they all sort of wind together. You’ve chosen some very nice colours here.
I like the effect on the text of your site name and the navigation. It’s very nice. The whole layout is easy on the eyes.
The CSS matches very nicely, but the comment statistics on your blog could have a background other than black. I like how different fonts are used.
I really like the subtle patterned background of the layout; it adds just the right amount of interest.
Content
About
You need to update this! You still say that your current layout is ‘Nightlife Velocity’.

On your ‘about me’ page:

and first thing should be and the first thing

The credits are all good. Nice to see you’ve credited the website and also what you used. WordPress should have a mention too.
Also, I don’t think the black headers match on this page. You might want to change the background colour!
The affiliates page is all good – but Icy-Sun doesn’t link anywhere. Is it meant to be like that?
Tutorials
Under Construction! No!! Not good, Isi. Don’t give the visitor the impression that something isn’t finished.
The code for Bellabuzz should have a different background; it’s black (again) and doesn’t match with the layout.
This tutorial is not bad, but you don’t have it in your sidebar anymore.
Capitalise Bellabuzz and URL.
anymore should be any more.
On your installing Bellabuzz tutorial:
you FTP should be your FTP
anymore should be any more
This tutorial is fairly good; you could explain chmoding to be more detailed.
On your ip banning tutorial, Remove should be Replace
more safe should be safer.
Nice tutorial. I haven’t seen this method of banning ips.
On your introduction to PHP tutorial:
PreProcessor, it should be PreProcessor; it
notepad should be Notepad
there files should be these files
After everything should be After that, everything
everypage should be every page
Style Sheet should be stylesheet
list of host should be list of hosts.
I really like how you have included this introduction; people usually just jump straight into PHP includes.
On your PHP includes tutorial, you might want to fix your coding a bit. Not all of the code appears in the code box.
This tutorial is alright. However, you must keep in mind that not everyone has the same coding, so you might want to use a very, very basic example, or perhaps show the code live, and how the layout looks, separately, so we can see how it works.
Nice FTP tutorial. I don’t use Filezilla though. You might want to capitalise FTP.

You should clean up your tutorials; set them out all in the same way. Your fonts tutorial is rather pointless; I’ve seen it too much. You’re using bullets on this page, unlike your other tutorials. Also, ‘[clicky]‘ is a really silly piece of text to link to an image.
Just as I guessed too; the screenshots have your old site name on them. This tutorial needs a revamp!
On your PHPAskIt tutorial, the link to the ‘script in action’ is a 404. Be sure to update this link!
new forms should be new form.
Overall the tutorials aren’t bad, but they could be cleaned up a bit and made neater. Not a bad job, though!
Ask Me
Nothing much to say here. You give very nice answers. I like how you gave suggestions for someone to choose a site name!
Art
I quite like the use of of LightboxJS, but be aware that it does take a bit longer to load than necessary. Very professional though.
You have very beautiful collages!
The headers are very nice.
The past layouts are also very nice.
Abstrach should be Abstract.
Resources
You only have one free layout. It’s not that bad, but it’s also not very “wow”. The site name could be black; it’s a bit hard to see. But well done, it’s valid HTML and CSS!
Lovely previews for the Photoshop actions! Beautiful effects though. I love the first two. They’re all very nice though.
The PSP scripts are very nice too. I don’t use these often, if not at all, so it’s nice to see them, actually.
I don’t think these icon textures need to link to Photobucket! Just use the image. This is an example of the first one:
<img src="http://i449.photobucket.com/albums/qq212/Hudgens-Identified/th_qafkiss09.png" border="0" alt="Photobucket" />
I have put the backslash in bold. As you know, in XHTML, the backslash is needed for images, but you have not put it in. You simply don’t need to be linking these images to Photobucket.
These are great icon textures, I love the last bunch of circles. I don’t use icon textures much; I love those circles though!
The brushes are alright; perhaps you can make an imagepack as well.
The bullets are rather simple; I don’t like the animated ones, they’re distracting.
Ah, finally someone who doesn’t give out fonts and say they belong to them! I think it was also very thoughtful of you to link to the website it was from, too. However, I can’t really make a comment; they’re pretty much a resource list.
Ooh yay, an article! Time to read. I love that first point, by the way. I agree. Never write like a fool!
peoples site should be people’s sites

Resources should be resources
bad graphics should be bad graphics.
nomind should be no mind

immediatly should be immediately
Great article! Though I have seen many, many articles like this, it always interests me to see what other webdesigners write. You have done a good job.
Originality & Creativity
I think you show a lot of creativity in your site. I love your collages and your current layout, as well as your previous layout. I think you have some great skills there. I would highly suggest offering some layouts or graphics with similar styles.
You don’t have a great deal of original content, as I’ve seen similar tutorials and scripts over your site, but it’s good to see you are getting creative with non-celebrity images. I find that very original.
Organisation & Errors
Well organised sections. I thought that a few of the pages, particularly the tutorials, need to be fixed up a bit.
You have a few careless mistakes in typing around your site, but these can be fixed. Make sure you proofread your work as well. The errors are just minor, but can be easily avoided if you check your work
Overall Comment
Isi, when I visited your site I wasn’t too sure what to expect. But your site was quite amazing and really had me interested.
You have a good selection of resources and tutorials, and from what I can see, your coding is really quite advanced (despite the errors; they weren’t too bad) and you have excellent graphic skill.
You don’t have a great deal of content on your site but what you have is very good. I would actually like to see more creativity, things like your collages, used more in your resources and as layouts!
Just fix those spelling/grammar errors, and try and validate your coding, and clean up your tutorials and any old content. Your site is excellent and you have potential!
