I’m not so sure about it. It has a great ring to it, but I’m not really a fan of people using their names in their site names. Your name, Kaytlin, can be spelled different ways. This is why it sort of confuses me.
However, I like how you’ve added ‘star’. Overall your site name and URL isn’t that bad.
Layout
I love it! No complicated stuff or overuse of brushes or anything! It’s wonderful. I love how it’s really simple. You’ve used just two colours, which contrast very well. Your header image isn’t too big at all, and the flowers and text work well together.
Your background tiles perfectly, and it’s a perfect match to your header. Your layout is very easy on the eyes, your CSS is simple and clean, your navigation is nice and clear, and everything looks and works well in all browsers!
One tiny discrepancy I had was that under your headers in your content, you should have the space just a few pixels bigger.

This page was clear and well set out, your grammar and spelling was perfect. You gave a lovely introduction to yourself too.
Your contact form fields are of different sizes. The Email and URL ones are smaller, and outlined in a different colour from the others. I’m not sure if this was intentional but it looks inconsistent and off alignment.
Waaah! Your cats are so adorable! Especially Petey. This page was a good one to center. Your photos are cropped the same size which is excellent.
Portfolio is mini! That’s cute! And the thumbnails are organised well. Your header images are just as wonderful as the one in your current layout. Everything here is great quality. After the title ‘sketches’, there’s an extra line before the thumbnails which isn’t consistent with the other sections (which have no line break).
I won’t be reviewing the external links; but you’ve got so many dragons and it’s great how they’ve grown!

Very straightforward, and it’s good to see you’ve got links and everything is nice and validated. Perhaps you could add a little something to let people know if they want to be in your ‘blogroll’ in your sidebar?
What I didn’t like here was that I found no credits. Where did you get the background from, in particular? Did you make it yourself? What programs did you use, tutorials you used, if any?

I would’ve been more open to naming this section ‘visitor’ but that’s entirely up to you.
Your opinions are well written, especially your essay. Your poetry is lovely.
All your graphics were great. I liked your brushes, they were high quality. Your textures were also good but the second one looked almost all black.
Your icons were good, and your website layouts were impressive, and I like how you’ve gone out of your way to make sure they’re validated. Excellent job in this section!

Your site layout was amazing Kaytlin! And your content was organised so well.
I only had two little problems: that you didn’t have any site credits (also, for the icons – did you use your own photos, etc), and that you didn’t have as much content as I expected. But of course your site is mainly a personal site, and it serves its purpose well. Your blogs are well written and you’re using WordPress which is a sign of professionalism.
Your website was great Kaytlin, and I don’t really gave any more to add. Keep up the good work!
