Tranquil Conspiracy is definitely original, one of a kind. It makes me feel quite nostalgic. I think though, that your subdomain is a little too long, you would’ve been better off with tc.periwinkled, something just a little shorter – subdomains don’t necessarily have to be the exact name of your site.
Layout
I think it’s wonderful. But I wanted to make note of the copyright at the top. I assume that the layout was a gift, which deters me from giving you a bigger score. However I trust that you coded and completed the layout yourself. If this was not the case, well, let it be in your favour then! =)
On to the layout. The colours are wonderful. They’re bright and happy, even though they don’t quite work with the site name, but that isn’t much concern. I love how the CSS matches – oh, perfectly! The way it overlaps slightly adds some texture, and interest to what would otherwise be a very simple layout. I am totally in love with the colours, the brightness is a wonderful contrast to the grey.
I do think that your navigation text could be just a little bigger, perhaps to match the sizes of the labels on your layout (‘comment’, ‘affiliates’, etc.).

I realise this part is just a profile, and it gives me the impression that your site is not entirely a personal one. Nothing wrong with this bio. =)
YOU:
You’ve got some interesting reads here. I’ve seen the ‘My Name Is Sarah’ quite a few times though =P. I like the idea of an advice column, it also gives me impression that you’re a really friendly webmiss, which is what visitors do like to see.
I like your tutorials. There aren’t many but what you’ve got is quite good. Your free layouts on the other hand are a little simple, they just contain a graphic. Basically you are offering a layout style, but I can see that you’ve provided the code which would have taken a bit of work. I think your rules are a little too random and annoying. Your visitors who want to use the layouts may get annoyed with all the rules and may not even read them.
However out of this section I think that your strength would be in your tutorials and you would really benefit visitors by adding more.
PORTFOLIO:
I’m not a big fan of portfolios. However, yours is simple and I love the photos you took. You’re a great photo taker! I think you could make avatars or something similar from these photos – even a layout. I compliment you on them, they are really amazing, especially the ones of nature.
T-C-P.COM:
I like how you’ve put this all on one page as everything’s small. But I think you should include a link to your affiliate application form. Same with this application form, make it a little simpler, not too many rules. I used to do the same as you, believe me! But I realise that affies get a worse punishment if you keep the rules simple, they ignore you for days, and you kick them off their guard.
Originality
Definitely original with the touch of your portfolio. Most things are common such as the tutorials and the layouts, but I liked how you did your layouts because I’ve never seen them done that way =) And definitely a site name to remember. I would love for you to submit for another review once you’ve added more content.
