Site Name

The first hosting site I’ve reviewed. The name is easy to remember and gives a good impression. I like the alliteration used.

Coding and Validation

Your coding has 66 errors in XHTML 1.0 Transitional.

Seeing as you are a hosting site, it’s best to get this fixed – it leaves a better impression. Many of your tags should be in lowercase rather than uppercase. Also, many images need alt tags.

Your CSS has 5 erorrs and 17 warnings. Most of these are becuase of the same colour being used for background and font.

Other than the validation errors, the coding is done fairly well and produces a very nice outcome.

Browser Compatibility & Usability

Looking at your site at Browsershots.org, your layout is looking consistent in most browsers.

The layout is really quite wide and wouldn’t be very appealing in smaller resolutions. The text is easy to read though.

The navigation could be improved a bit by combining it all together. It would be better if the same layout was kept for billing, etc – to avoid confusion.

Layout

Very professional look. I like the use of simple grey colours teamed with hints of green. The text is easy to read and the layout is very user-centred.

I have a few problems with the layout. One is that it’s very wide. It looks fine in my resolution, but people on smaller resolutions will need to scroll horizontally to see parts of your layout and website. I would suggest cutting the width down a bit.

The ‘free advertising’ promotion banner definitely grabs my attention, but it’s a bit too big. Also considering it’s bigger than your website name Hyper-Host in the corner.

Apart from those rather striking features, the design is great, the colours are great, and things are very-user friendly.

Content

Packages

Set out very nicely, allowing for comparison with a table. Very good plans. Do you allow for monthly payment as well, or is it just for comparison?

Promotions

Fairly self explanatory.

Support

This is a very user-friendly set up. Easy to understand. Of course, support is a necessity for any host.

Contact Us

Perhaps on this page, you could have a contact form for general queries, so people don’t have to enter through request of a support ticket. Just a simple contact form will do.

About Us

You could fix up this page – there are many capitalised words that don’t need to capitalised. For instance:

“Hosting Provider” need not be capitalised.
“Different” – need not be capitalised.
“Early March” – “Early” need not be capitalised.

You mention what is important to you, and instead of cumulatively listing, you should list it with bullet points down the page.

comany should be company.

Terms of Service

You write that this page is ‘still being written’. Do try and finish it off. You should try not to give the viewer the impression that your website is unfinished.

service’s should be service
hyper-host.net should be Hyper-Host.Net.

The following need not be capitalised:

Browsing Times, Visit Time, Page Visits, Location, Referral, and Internet Provider

Partners

Pretty self-explanatory.

Originality & Creativity

I can’t say much here, considering you’re a hosting site. But your site’s look is definitely one that I’ll remember.

Organisation & Errors

Organisation wasn’t too bad; no major errors.

Overall Comment

You have an organised, friendly and approachable website.

You should make your layout a bit narrower, and organise your navigation a bit more. For a hosting site things are fairly good, clear, and easy to use.

Also, complete all the pages and correct the punctuation errors.
