Seriously? Priyac? Short and easy to remember but did you really have to use your name? It’s a little boring, to be honest.
Coding and Validation
I can’t check your site through the W3C Markup Validation service. When I look at your coding, it starts with </style>! Your coding’s a mess.
So you have your HTML and head tags, but you’re totally missing a doctype and character encoding! This is what you need at the start of every document:

Crazily enough, you repeat your tags after your styling:

Worse, you end your HTML tag before your content even begins! Not a good sign at all.
Okay, I’m wrong; your character encoding is stuffed between all your coding. Your coding is very disorganised.

Your CSS is not validated.
One reason why this may not be the case is because your CSS is embedded! You should (well, must) put it in its own file called css.css or something like that, which you can do by opening Notepad, then saving the document as “css.css” (or something.css, including the quotation marks).
Then you will need to use a code on your page to call on the CSS file:
<link rel="stylesheet" href="css.css" type="text/css">
You also should not colour your scrollbars. It’s not always desirable and can cause problems in some browsers and obviously in your CSS – and it only works in Internet Explorer.
I can’t say your coding or CSS was impressive at all. You didn’t even have <body> tags.
Browser Compatibility & Usability
According to Browsershots.org your site looks okay in a lot of browsers except Firefox (and some others). In Firefox, this idiotically annoying message pops up. You might want to look into that, it pops up whenever a link on your site is clicked.
Your layout is exactly 800 pixels wide; consider making it a tad bit smaller so it fits on resolutions of 800 by 600.
I like the navigation and the hover effect, but the navigation before hovering is a little too light.
Your default text is hard to read. It’s too small and the letters are spaced way too far apart.
Layout
Cute layout! I like the pink and green combination. I like the navigation and how things are quite simple. The layout should be centered though.
The outline of the pig isn’t too good; in my opinion this layout would be better as a scribble-style layout.
The CSS is not bad, but your text is just too small.
The layout overall is unique and quite well done.

There is no reason to have these striked out links for pages you don’t even have yet. It gives the visitor the impression that your site is unfinished. And consider putting these links in alphabetical order.
On your pixels page, a link to where people can download GiFFY would be nice. (=
Your pixels aren’t that great, they need some improvement.
A lot of your icons are repeated.
Miniblends – useless. Too small for a layout, can’t really be used for anything.

Credit the brushes you used in the icon textures.
Cute special adoptions! Not such a unique idea but definitely something good. You should use a form instead of a guestbook. You’ve got a Freewebs bar at the foot of this page.

You can’t see the number of the orphan in Firefox. Use title=”number” in your attributes as well as alt=”number”.
The dolls are not bad at all, try making some more!
Your only coded layout, ‘Heart’ is a similar style to your current one. Try and vary it. Your background image appears to be a dead image. I like the navigation. You should be crediting the brushes you used – it seems you’ve used at least one.
The HTML codes are not really useful. People should already know these and they’re not of any help to a complete beginner unless you’re going to explain HTML and give an entire basics course.
In your tutorials, stop welcoming your visitor with ‘Hey there’. It’s not necessary. In your icon tutorials it’s best to put the ‘before’ and ‘after’ photos next to each other and label them accordingly rather than saying [image] from this [image].
You’re using celebrity images as well, which is actually illegal. Consider using legal photos or your own.
Your third, fourth and fifth icon tutorials have their title as ‘Icon Tutorial 2′.
You shouldn’t be offering reviews and grading on them. Especially on coding when your coding is a mess. And if ‘Pages’ is the number of pages, that’s really degrading because you shouldn’t be marking people on how many pages they have. It’s quality, not quantity. I would apply for a review just to see how you review.

What is with this ‘do not comment me on reviews’? I see it in a lot of amateur sites like yours. Why? What if people wish to ask opinions or say thanks? Well, doesn’t seem like you care about reviewees much. You shouldn’t be giving reviews just to follow a trend.
You’re using a guestbook. A separate guestbook or perferably a form should be used.

Please capitalise your Is. And I don’t know what’s with this -Priya business. We got the gist, yeah? We know your name, for goodness sake, it’s in your SITE name! So no need to sign off, okay?
You’re linking people in the credits with little tiny weeny letter xs. That is not how you properly credit someone. Give the site name or write out the URL as a link. At least you credited what you took.
You get that annoying Freewebs bar at the bottom of your Affiliates page. Forgotten a code, have we? On this page, try using all buttons or all links, not a combination. And have the buttons the same size as well. This page is a little hard to understand – sister sites are different from affiliates.
Ditto here on your Advertising page, capitalise your Is and no more signing off with your name. And don’t just put your guestbook here. A separate guestbook or perferably a form should be used.

A guestbook, good idea. Obviously won’t be reviewing this. It would be nicer if all the guestbook entries had the same font size and colour and everything. Looks a bit of a mess.
Originality & Creativity
I didn’t see much creativity, everything was rather plain. Your layout was original and so was some of your content. Others were just boring and the same sort of thing I’ve seen on other sites.
Organisation & Errors
Not that well organised. Put your links in alphabetical order for better organisation. There weren’t broken links but you should not show links to pages that don’t exist.
Please use proper punctuation and capitalise your Is.
Overall Comment
Priya, your site is not bad for someone who’s just come from Piczo. Not bad at all! But you do need to drop a few habits that you have:
- Don’t sign off as -Priya all the time.
- Capitalise those damn Is.
- Use some forms instead of guestbooks.
- Don’t leave striked out links everywhere!
Also, you shouldn’t have advertising sites after all your updates on your homepage. Don’t they deserve to be higher up? Or in your advertising section in your sidebar?
Your coding is a mess and I really don’t think you should be offering reviews. You know how to make a site, but you need to organise and make sure your coding is accurate.
You’ve got relatively good content, but you shouldn’t use celebrity graphics. Keep working on your site and focusing on your graphics and coding and that should lead you in the right direction.
