I don’t like the use of this “xo” thing. It’s a little overdone and annoying. I do like the “crash” though, and it’s a short and easy to remember name.
Coding and Validation
According to the W3C Markup Validation service, you have two errors. Basically it is because you don’t have a character encoding. You need this at the top of every document:
<meta http-equiv="content-type" content="text/html; charset=utf-8" />
You don’t even have a doctype, not even <html>, <head> or <body> tags. You haven’t coded your layout yourself so I won’t go further with corrections.
Your CSS can’t be validated.
The reason why this may be the case is because your CSS file does not have a .css extension.
Browser Compatibility & Usability
According to Browsershots.org your site looks okay in most browsers!
The navigation isn’t bad and your default text is of a good size and colour.
Layout
You didn’t make it yourself, and I quote:
This layout was made by Winnie at malignant-voices.org. This layout is also coded by vejc-design.com.
Fair enough, I guess I can’t review it then. For the record, the header image is rather pixelated and the background to the image doesn’t match your body background. It’s not a horrible layout but it’s not too great.
The CSS looks more impressive and I might say it’s good that the layout is simple, but your shouldn’t be using iframes because they drive search engines crazy and make your site annoying for some browsers. You should really make your own layout, especially if you’re reviewing people.
Content
Your site is a review site, so I really don’t see the point in reviewing it because your reviews are just going to be your opinion.
In your sidebar, ont should be on. And you don’t need all those blank affiliates, one ‘wanna be here’ is enough! Same with the reviews.

As I said, I will not be reviewing this section, but you follow a fair grading system and it’s good you use an overall grading and not grade section by section.
Originality & Creativity
None, really. Your site is simple and just a review site; I don’t think you should have applied because there is really nothing to review.
Organisation & Errors
Fairly well organised!
No broken links either, and very minimal spelling/grammar/punctuation mistakes.
Overall Comment
Rylee, I don’t think this review is very useful for you and I personally don’t think you should have applied. You didn’t make your layout yourself which wasn’t good. As a reviewer you need to show people that you have good skills that you can show as a good example.
If you could at least make and code your own layout – read some HTML tutorials and such. That would really move you along and have more people apply for reviews.
I sure hope you’re updating your site because your last review was completed a month ago and you still have one in queue.
Good luck with the site. You are better off moving to graphics and learning webdesign yourself, or making a portfolio of writings if graphics isn’t your thing. If you’re looking to gain visitors those are the key steps to take. I wish you luck!
