Site Name

It’s a lovely name, Heaven Aura. I don’t have any complaints, but I don’t like a redirection URL because it’s hard to bookmark just a single page.

Coding and Validation

Your coding has 7 errors.

It looks very neat and organised, but let’s see where the errors are coming from. You’re missing an alt tag on one of your layout images (09.jpg).

You have a </a> after ‘affiliates’ that doesn’t end a link.

Also, instead of </center></font>, have </font></center>. End the font styling before the alignment!

</html> should be the last thing in your document. All the scripting after this needs to be moved somewhere before the </body> tag.

Get rid of the backslash here:

site40.net" alt="web hosting" /></a>

Doing all that will guarantee validated coding.

Your CSS is valid CSS 2.1. Good job. I expected it to be validated as your coding was quite good.

Browser Compatibility & Usability

The site looks the same in most browsers according to Browsershots.org.

The navigation stands out but a hover effect on it would be nice.

Your default text is of a good size and is easy to read.

Layout

It looks professional.. except for the iframes. You can achieve the same look with divs, you could even use PHP includes. You have a rounded box for the frame which looks bad with a scrollbar in it. I have to scroll on the main scrollbar, then scroll in the iframe. Things would look better if they run down the page and ended with the rounded footer.

I highly suggest moving from iframes. They’re old-style and get annoying when I want to bookmark a page, like where I’m up to in reviewing. Your site looks professional and to complement that – no iframes anymore.

Another thing that bugs me with your layout is the top image. I keep scrolling up because I think there’s a rounded border like your footer. It would look better with a rounded border, otherwise, because it starts at the top of the page, it seems like there’s more.

The background in your iframes should be transparent to allow the grey background to show. Looking here we can see that after scrolling the background doesn’t match because of the fade.

Enough being nitpicky! The layout is lovely and very organised. The header image has been blended well. You’ve got a great colour scheme and the fading background looks great.

It’s a professional-looking, clean and organised layout.

Content

About

Well written, but don’t write PLEASE FOR GODS SAKE. It’s rather intimidating and makes you sound a little immature.

which I hope to possibly do it should be and I hope to do webdesign
know for definite should be know for sure.

Instead of using capitals for emphasis, use italics.

Terms Of Use

No problems here. Very professional looking.

Site Related

The pages in this section are well organised. I like the inclusion of the back/forward buttons as you’re using iframes. Also, the gifts and awards are organised well. However, since you’ve recently gone on a revamp, maybe you should also remove those old awards, if there are any.

A couple of links under ‘awards’ read ‘gift’ – you might want to change that.

Designs

Under the ‘most recent’ section, the preview for the design titled Sword Dance is a broken link. Your What do YOU see layout is okay, but the header background repeats and doesn’t look great. It might just be my browser, which is Firefox.

In your ‘Browse by series’ section, the same design I was referring to also has a broken link. Also in the category of table designs.

Good job on the credits for the layouts and stating where you got the images from!

Your third site banner preview is a broken link.

In this section, you shouldn’t have iframe and splash page designs as categories until they have content in them and link to a page. Visitors don’t want to be given the impression that something is unfinished.

Tagboard

Center the tagboard on this page; it would look better. Try and have the colours match your layout.

To complement the professionalism you should have a guestbook rather than a tagboard.

Links In/Out

Well organised. The following:

The link to Heaven Aura through http://heaven-aura.co.nr and I thank you in advance for advertise my site.

should be:

Please link to http://heaven-aura.co.nr. I thank you in advance for advertising my site.

Contact

These rules are straightforward and fair. This page has no problems.

Originality & Creativity

You had an original layout and an original and professional way of putting your site together. This showed some creativity. You didn’t have many designs though.

I could only see one design apart from your banners and that didn’t show me much. I really do look forward to seeing more designs as I have visited your site before and know that you have potential and dedication.

Definitely work on layouts like your current layout. They wil be quite unique!

Organisation & Errors

Everything was well organised and neatly put together. There weren’t many broken links. Spelling and grammar was pretty good.

Overall Comment

Sasha, you’ve got an impressive site. Your layout is suitable for a design site and one to show off your works. However, I think that to supplement your professional-looking layout, you need to get out of the iframes and head over to something different.

Your designs are great. Even if they don’t appeal to everyone and not everyone will like anime – no doubt it will show how well you can work with graphics and design things.

I would love to see more designs in the future; that’s my only other suggestion. Keep up the great work.
