Site Name
Well Shola, here I am, doing the reviews in my queue out of order, and felt like doing yours because I knew I’d enjoy it. At this time of the night, past 11pm, it’s hard to enjoy doing a review.
You’re my great friend and affiliate but you do know that I will be completely honest in this review, obviously since you are my friend, I wouldn’t lie.
Well, your site name is not a problem at all. Your name, in all its glory, is easy to remember.
Coding and Validation
Your coding is valid.
Your CSS is valid.
I’m very impressed with this.
Browser Compatibility & Usability
Browsershots.org tells me your site is generally the same in most browsers.
The navigation is clear and pretty obvious. I don’t like the use of the periods after each link though. It looks a bit silly.
The font size is great and legible, not to mention you’re using one of my favourite fonts.
You could cut the width of the layout down a bit. At 800 pixels in width, it would result in a horizontal scrollbar in small resolutions like 800 by 600 pixels, which is not always a nice thing to have. A safe width is about 760 pixels.
Layout
I really love the photograph you’ve used in the header image. I assume you took it yourself?
The image is very nice, and I like the subtle way your website name follows the shape of the trees. I like the simplicity. I would have liked a font that was a bit bolder and stood out though.
The quality of the image isn’t the best. I am not sure what graphics program you are using, but if saving it as a .jpg, ensure it is of maximum quality. In PhotoShop there is an option to change the quality when you save the file. Otherwise, save it as a .png.
I am not a big fan of the CSS, mainly because of the colours. Green doesn’t match with the lovely purple-red-yellow sunset. In fact, A great place to grab some colours is Degraeve, which allows you to punch in the URL of an image, and it will obtain a wonderful colour palette derived from the colours in your image.
I highly recommend using Degraeve because I’ve just put in your header image and it has come up with a beautiful set of colours. Much better than green.
You could also use a few more different fonts in your CSS to mix things up and spice things up a bit.

You might want to credit any other sites that helped you out, like W3Schools.
Interesting disclaimer. These things always scare me for some reason. You need to capitalise “owner” in the third paragraph. And shouldn’t you be referring to yourself as “I”, not “we”?
Articles
I recognise most of these as old blogs from Cyanne and TheSyrup. I love your blogs, and these articles, because they’re so unique and cover interesting topics.
I don’t feel a need to go through these again but do make sure you proofread these for errors anyway.

Originality & Creativity
Very original – I love your writings. They’re hilarious. Having writing of your own on a site is always original.
I couldn’t say things were creative – you’re a creative writer, but of course a more creative layout could be done.
Organisation & Errors
Well organised. No broken links or images found.
Make sure you proofread your work; you had a lot of silly mistakes in your writing.
Overall Comment
Shola, I’m very impressed with your site and how you managed to grasp the concept of HTML and CSS. It’s really quite amazing.
You have solid, good content on your website so far and all I really have to suggest is to proofread your work and maybe come up with a more interesting layout to capture your wonderful work.
Your effort is very obvious and I can see you have put a lot of work into your site. More writing and some layout fixes would make things look a lot neater and more uniform.
