A pain in my feet, a numbness in my toes.
Impractical shoes.
A drop of sweat drips from the endurance.
Sitting in a bitter twisted hope, not a drop of water left in my bottle.
A rather dark and lonesome night.
The smallest window places itself behind me.
I am just a bit too dazed.
My shoes hold the feet to an endless day of adventure.
The squeak of the train lets another person turn.
A great weight on my lap, the wave of tired faces return.
